Although the only team to surpass in the Scottish Premiership was Celtic I wanted to take Aberdeen to Champions League glory (I'd also never played a career mode season with a Scottish side, so this was the perfect time to do it.)After 4-5 seasons this is how the team is looking. It's made of a majority of British players with 2 Scottsmen, Tierney and MacNeil (a youth product).
Stand out players:
MacNeil - Scottish international and it's obvious why! All goalkeeper ratings above 85 and stops almost everything in his path. In comparison to another player it would be Neuer... Same height, same build, just a powerhouse.
D. Sterling - Fairly new to the club but has excellent ability down the right flank. Always bombing forward to support the attack. When you're caught on a counter attack you can be confident Sterling will be the man to get back and intercept play.
Lerma - Easily my favourite player from FIFA 17. When sitting in that holding midfield role he is the complete player. Perfect passing, clever box to box work and a no-nonsense attitude towards tackles. He really is the spine of this side and has the ability to play most games start to finish, with a stamina rating of 98. He's well and truly become a legend for me and earned the captaincy 20x over.
Calvert-Lewin - Originally on a year long loan in the first season Calvert-Lewin started as our left sided winger but quickly stole himself the central striker position due to his clinical finishing and ability to turn defenders like a veteran. The following season his loan was upgraded to a permanent transfer. Since then Calvert-Lewin has been Scottish Premiership golden boot winner twice, runner up once and also top of the assist chart on two occasions.
